Organanic Shield Coating
Tokai now offers the possibility of applying an organic coating on the lens.The big advantage of this Tokai organic coating is that the expansion coefficient of the coating equals the coefficient of expansion of the material. Thus, coating crack and peel-off caused by heating of the lens (max. 120°C) are avoided. It also prevents coating crack due to pressure on the lens.This critical characteristic combined with an exclusive high anti-scratch property and enhanced oleo- and hydrophobic characteristics, makes the Tokai OSC coating unique in its kind.
